Show Stopping

Lady Une is an exceptionally complex character and anytime she has screen time one cannot help but be drawn to her. There are some instances however where Lady Une outshines all and her entrances [and exits] are the real show stopping performance of the episode. These are Lady Une's most memorable moments.

 Lady Une to the Rescue!

Where: Outerspace
When: Episode #46; Millardo's Decision
Why: The Colonies have declared their independence from the Earth and war on the Earth with Millardo Peacecraft as the leader of the White Fang. Treize Kushrenda once again assumes his position as head of OZ and begins gathering and amassing troops to head off into space to do battle with Millardo and the White Fang. Having comandeered the resource satelite, MO2, the Earth's forces begin to send troops en masse and Treize chooses to lead his troops from the front line. The Tallgese ll is constructed in his honor. Despite the fact that Treize is manning the Tallgese workers continue the full restoration of Wing Gundam, as they were previously instructed. All this occurs while Lady Une is still comatose and no word is given on when or whether she will awaken.

Treize and Millardo get set to launch into humanity's final battle. Treize Kushrenada challenges Millardo to a chivalrous duel between leaders but Millardo refuses and oders his subordinates to fire up Libra's main cannon and to set target to the Tallgese and MO2. At this exact same moment back on Earth Lady Une awakens from her coma and flees the hospital in a hurry. Lady Une then steals the newly restored Wing Gundam just as Treize begins to charge head first at Libra and directly in the main cannon's firing range. Millardo, despite Dorothy's interference, fires at Treize Just as the blast is about to hit we see Wing Gundam transform from it's bird mode into attack mode, catching both Treize's and Millardo's attention. Wing Gundam slams into Tallgese ll and thows Treize out of the cannon's radius. When the blast dies away only the upper half of the gundam is left still in tact. The pilot's cockpit opens up and much to Treize's surprise Lady Une emerges.
