Summary:

Adonis, a frail and pathetic human boy in a super powered suit has broken into the basement of a lab and the Teen Titans respond quickly. Because of his immensely strong suit he quickly begins over powering the titans and seems to single out Raven, actually straddling her and pinning her to the ground before she teleports away. Beast Boy attacks Adonis and is continuously knocked away by Adonis which angers Beast Boy. Adonis then taunts Beastboy, telling him to fight him "like a man". From there on the fight is between Adonis and Beast Boy only as both combatants attempt to prove that they’re the strongest. During the fight both Beast Boy and Adonis collide with a cylindrical container containing some sort of vibrant green toxic goop which coats the both of them. There is a notable rise in the violence of their fight and Beast Boy pummels Adonis into unconsciousness. The other Teen Titans are shocked at Beast Boy’s violent display, where upon Raven makes a sarcastic quip and Beast Boy loses his temper with her and snaps back further confusing and frightening the other Titans.

Back at the tower Beast Boy’s personality does a complete 180. He steals Robin’s breakfast, which coincidently consisted of ham and eggs, and wolfs it down without a care or thought to what he ate or Robin’s feelings. He is much more aggressive and antagonistic, which is seen when he deliberately picks a fight with Raven, and even orders Starfire around as though she were his servant.

That night an intruder breaks into the Tower and abducts Raven. The Titans, hearing the sounds of a struggle and Raven's cry investigate and come upon the scene of a fight. Raven is no where to be found and Beast Boy is AWOL. Cyborg and Starfire are equally concerned over both Raven and Beast Boy's disapearances, but Robin suspects that maybe Raven is the one in trouble - and Beast Boy might be behind it. The three of them set off following Raven's communicator signal hoping to rescue her from her attacker and end up chasing him down through the sewers before finally being able to confront Raven’s attacker - a ferocious man-beast with the unconscious Raven dangling from it’s mouth. The man-beast then turns back into Beast Boy.

The Teen Titans return to the Tower to interrogate Beast Boy and to do a physical on him while Raven slips into a meditative sleep in order to heal. Given the facts laid out before their eyes the Titans are forced to believe that Beast Boy attacked Raven, and Beast Boy who cannot remember what happened is unable to convince them otherwise. As Robin is interrogating him, Beast Boy loses his temper and transform again into the giant man-beast and escapes. Robin and Cyborg set off after him leaving Starfire behind to protect the still unconscious and defenseless Raven. After the boys have left Raven awakens and asks where Beast Boy is. Starfire, assuming the Raven is fearful of another attack is quick to reassure her that she is safe. Raven however is confused and tells Starfire that Beast Boy was the one who saved her.

Cyborg and Robin chase Beast Boy through the city and into the sewers and just as they close in on him another man-beast arrives on the scene - Adonis. Both Adonis and Beast Boy engage in an even more ferocious and vicious battle than the first one. At last the battle draws to a close and Beast Boy merges victorious, reverting back to his normal form. And Adonis is left among the rubble looking exceptionally pathetic (again).

Later that night after having received a vaccine from Cyborg, Beast Boy is sitting out on the rocks by the Tower thinking about what happened. Raven appears and manages to drag him out of his misery-party with a few well aimed compliments and reassurances by telling him that having the beast inside of him doesn’t mean that he’s a monster. But knowing when to let it out is what makes him a man.

Beast Boy of course ruins the moment by saying that from now on everyone should call him Beast Man. Which, coincidently is where this fan listing’s name came from.

Adonis: You think you can out-muscle Adonis? Bring it on.
Beast Boy: Dude, it is totally brunged, bringed.
Raven: Ooohh, bad grammar. That ought to scare him.

Raven: Let... me... go!
Adonis: *purrs* You're feisty.

Adonis: Nobody out-muscles Adonis.
Beast Boy: Oh, yeah? Well, my muscles may be small and ropy, but they're not! I mean...

Adonis: What's the matter, wuss. Don't you know how to fight like a man?
Beast Boy: I'm not a man, I'm an animal!

Raven: Yeah. Have any freak-outs lately?
Beast Boy: I just got sick of being pushed around.

Beast Boy: Well, it's almost noon. You should get some breakfast.
Robin: That was my breakfast.

Raven: Is this the part where I'm supposed to be intimidated?
Beast Boy: No - THIS is! *changes into gorilla*

Beast Boy: No. I wouldn't. I mean, we had a fight, but I would never...
Starfire: She was in your teeth.
Beast Boy: That's a lie!

Raven: Having that thing inside you doesn't make you a monster. Knowing when to let it out is what makes you a man.
Beast Boy: Hmm, maybe you should call me Beast Man from now on.
Raven: We're having a moment here, don't ruin it.
Beast Boy: Beast Dude?
Raven: *sigh*
