Adopting Out

After much consideration, I have come to the [sad] conclusion that these fanlistings would do much better under the care of new owners. Below are the fanlistings currently up for adoption as well as the rules for adoption. Please read over the rules carefully before applying.

Rules & Guidelines

  1. First and foremost, you must be a fan/supporter of the subject in question. While I would hate to see these listings closed I would also hate to see them in the hands of someone who is basically just "collecting" listings and doesn't actually care about them.
  2. By adopting one of my listings you agree to credit me as the previous owner (and any other previous owners there might be) and should you plan to adopt the listing out in the future you will contact me first.
  3. If chosen, you agree to have the fanlisting up and running within three weeks of receiving my approval email. If you need more time please let me know in advance. When you have the listing up and ready to go please let me know and I will then send you the members list. Once the member's list has been successfully added I will send in a moved form to the appropriate network.
  4. You must keep all members and affiliates. It is also your responsibility to contact them and inform them of the change of ownership and location.
  5. With regards to graphics; you may keep the codes I made so long as you credit me as their maker. You must however keep any and all codes that were donated by fans or previous owners with proper credit.
  6. I use Enthusiast to manage my listings so it will be infinitely easier for all parties involved if you do as well. However, how you choose to manage your listings is really up to you, so if you choose to handcode or make use of a different script it will not be held against you in the application process. There is one exception, I will not adopt a listing out to someone who uses Flinx/Flinx Collective and/or PHPFanBase as those scripts are riddled with security issues and I'd hate to see my old listings hacked shortly after finding new homes. :( If you're using another script you do need to know how to convert the members list yourself as I will more than likely have no idea how to help you.
